Our superhero, Thomas Norman Killian, age 69 of Prescott, Wisconsin, passed away
on January 31, 2019, after a five year, courageous battle with cancer. Tom was born
on December 2, 1949 to parents Gen (Deiss) and Norm Killian in River Falls,
Wisconsin. Tom married his best friend, Carol Helen Murphy, on April 3, 1971, and
their union in marriage would be blessed with 2 children, David and Jennifer, four
grandchildren, Dylan, Taylor, Nicolas and Eliana, and nearly 48 years of love and
devotion.

Throughout Tom’s life, among being a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son and
brother, he was a member of the Army Reserves, a long time, loyal employee of
North Star Steel for 28 years, and retired from Firebrick Engineering after 15 years,
in 2013.

In his spare time, Tom enjoyed hunting, golfing, softball among other sports, social
activities with his many friends, and the Green Bay Packers, more so when they
were winning. Tom and his best friend, Kuf, could often be spotted on the Killian
corner at the local watering hole, recapping their eventful day and solving the
world’s problems.

Tom was preceded in death by his mother, Gen (Deiss) Killian. Tom is survived by
his wife, Carol; children, Dave Killian and Jenny Johnson; four grandchildren; his father, Norm (Donna) Killian; siblings, Jerry (Kate) Killian, Kathy (Butch) Luedke, Karen (Lonnie) Larson, Patti Killian and Chris Killian; the extended Murphy family; numerous nieces,
nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, many friends, and Buster the dog.

Mass of Christian Burial Celebrating Tom’s Life will take place 11:00 AM Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at St. Joseph Catholic Parish, 269 Dakota St. S., Prescott, WI. A Gathering of Family and Friends will take place starting at 9:00 AM until the time of Mass.
