Bernadette Helen Deusterman, age 90, of Ellsworth, WI passed away Sunday, March 17, 2019 at Kinnic Health & Rehab in River Falls, WI. She was born on June 28, 1928 in Henderson, MN to Nelson and Mary (Leonhardt) Gondreau. She graduated Valedictorian from Henderson High School in May of 1946. Bernadette continued her education at St. Catherine’s College in St. Paul, MN graduating in May of 1950 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing. On November 25, 1950 she was united in marriage to John Joseph Deusterman in Henderson, MN.
Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, John; sons-in-law, John Rice and James Kudronowicz; granddaughter, Lisa (Lubich) Neuman.
Bernadette is lovingly survived by her children, Joanne (Kenneth) Lubich, Jeanne Rice, Michael (Rose) Deusterman, Laurie (Edwin) Kopp, Daniel (Judith) Deusterman, Beth Kudronowicz, Peter (Sandra) Deusterman, Thomas Deusterman, Amy (Allen) Standaert; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00am Saturday, March 23, 2019 at St. Francis Catholic Church, 231 Woodworth St., Ellsworth, WI. Visitation will be 9:00-11:00am at the church prior to Mass. Interment will be in St. Francis Catholic Cemetery, Ellsworth, WI. www.oconnellbenedict.com 715-273-4421
