Clifford Roger Meier, 88, of Beldenville, Wisconsin passed away May, 27, 2017 at Hudson Hospital, Hudson, Wisconsin.
Cliff was born November 21, 1928, in Oak Grove Township, Wisconsin to John and Frieda (Belter) Meier. Cliff married Rosella Jane Edgar on September 5, 1950 in Pierce County. To this union 4 children were born.
Clifford’s life was farming. He farmed in Oak Grove Township until purchasing his farm in Beldenville in 1958 where he farmed up to the last weeks of his life. Cliff’s passion was snowmobiling with family and friends including trips to the Big Horn Mountains in Wyoming. He also enjoyed dancing, big band music, fishing, tractor pulls, coffee and friends at the feed store. He loved family gatherings with good food and conversation.
Cliff is survived by his four children, William “Bill” (Linda) Meier, Rebecca “Becky” (Scott) Apold, Brenda (Marvin) Birr, and Julie (Dave) Gavin; five grandchildren, Adam Birr, Molly Bystrom, Joseph Gavin, Sarah Apold, Megan Apold; five great grandchildren, Elijah, Isaac, Micah, Rosie, Jackson; sister, Marcella Fiedler and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Rosella, two brothers Claude and Calvin, and two sisters Madeline Johnson and Marge Larson, one great-grandson Caleb Clifford Bystrom.

A Funeral Service for Clifford will be 11:00 am, Friday, June 2, 2017 at First Presbyterian Church in Ellsworth, with a visitation from 10:00 am until time of service at the church. A Visitation will be 5:00-8:00 pm, Thursday, June 1, 2017 at Hill Funeral Home Chapel in Ellsworth.

Hill Funeral Home and Cremation Services will be assisting the family.
