Donald Arthur Lamberg, age 86 of Ellsworth, passed away on January 30, 2019. Donald was born September 4, 1932 in Red Wing, MN to Emil and Esther (Danielson) Lamberg. He graduated from Red Wing High School, the Class of 1950. Don proudly served his country in the United States Army, and was deployed to Korea during the Korean Conflict. He was united in marriage on May 21, 1955 to Joyce Pearson. Their marriage was blessed with a daughter, Karen. Don worked as an electrical lineman for Pierce-Pepin Electric Cooperative Services for 32 years. He was a member of the Ellsworth Legion Honor Guard for 40 years.

Don appreciated the beauty of nature, and enjoyed his time cutting wood, fishing, and camping. He passed on his love of nature to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom he adored. Don and Joyce traveled throughout the United States in their fifth wheel camper, providing many wonderful memories. Don occasionally liked to try out his luck at the casino, and in his quiet time, was fond of watching Western movies and TV shows.

Don will remain in the hearts of his loving wife of 63 years, Joyce; his daughter, Karen (John) Woehrle; grandchildren, Jason (Jessica) Woehrle, Mark (Jessica) Woehrle, and Kari (LCDR Jeffrey) deLongpre; great-grandchildren, Sebastian, Kathryn, Brian, Ella, Annabelle, Abigail, Alexis, Lauren, Samantha, Cora, and Amelia; many nieces and nephews and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Evelyn and Howard Pearson; and sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Maxine (Sonny) Morgan.
