Donald William Huppert, age 88 of River Falls WI, passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at Regions Hospital in Saint Paul. Donald was born September 28, 1930 in Hudson, WI to parents Edmund and Rose (VonKuster) Huppert. Don proudly served his country in the United States Navy.

After his time in the service, Don devoted his life to farming. When he wasn’t milking cows or working on the farm, Don maintained his Farmall M-TA, and enjoyed visiting with other area farmers. Don worked hard, and lived his life being a kind friend and a good neighbor to others. Don treasured his time spent with family, and held a special place in the hearts of his nieces and nephews, and their children as well.

Donald is survived by his brothers, Bill (Susan) Huppert of River Falls, and Lawrence (Kay) Huppert of River Falls; his sister, Delores (Fred) Schulte of Roberts; along with many nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edmund and Rose Huppert.

Mass of Christian Burial for Donald Huppert will take place at 11:00am on Friday, July 19 at St. Bridget’s Catholic Church, 211 E Division Street in River Falls, with Rev. Fr. Jerry Harris officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday morning, from 9:30am until 11:00am. Burial with military honors will take place at St Bridget’s Catholic Cemetery in River Falls. Pallbearers assisting with the services will be: Matthew Huppert, Craig Huppert, Gary Stitt, Josh Sazma, Russell Hovde, Jason Kjos, and Josh Hudak. Honorary pallbearer will be Steve Brandeen.
