Tributes (3):

  • To Gladys’s family: I could not attend her funeral as I am having some health issues, but I am so sorry for your loss of a great lady. I had the privilege of visiting her about two weeks before she passed. We had a wonderful visit. We hugged and kissed in greeting and talked for almost an hour. I offered her twice for a chance to forgive me for any hurt that I may have caused her. She said that I didn’t. She was a real Christian of forgiveness. She looked so peaceful and serene. She said that she wanted to go home. So I prayed with her for that, which made her happy. Again, I am so sorry for your loss.

    In Christ,
    Nancy Blake

  • I was one of the adult “Modern Dance” class that Gladys taught. Every woman in the class envied Gladys for her thin figure. I was also the Hudson Librarian so I had the opportunity to meet Father Beauchamp and several of their children. Tim spent a lot of time at the library and I was impressed with Gladys” lovely children. She was very proud of her family.

  • Thank you for including the photo of Gladys the dancer. Although I did not have the privilege of meeting her, she leaves behind a legacy of contribution and grace.
