Lisa Marie Hanson, age 57 of Ellsworth WI, died suddenly and unexpectedly on Monday, July 16, 2018 while at her vacation home. Lisa was born November 9, 1960 in Bismarck ND to parents Warren and Rose (Boehm) Winter. Lisa graduated from Park High School in Cottage Grove MN with the Class of 1979, and furthered her education at 916 Vo-Tech as a surgery technician. Lisa was united in marriage to Dale Hanson on August 4, 1984. Their union in marriage was blessed with a son, Josh, and a daughter, Dani.

Lisa worked for over 35 years at Smead Manufacturing in Hastings MN. Outside of work, Lisa enjoyed the relaxation of time spent camping. She also earned her Brown belt in karate, and enjoyed painting and crafts, and participating in Bible study group as well. Lisa cherished time spent with her six grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Lisa is survived by her husband of nearly 34 years, Dale Hanson; her children, Josh (Adrienne) Hanson of Ellsworth WI, and Dani (Chris Ogden) Hanson of Maiden Rock WI; grandchildren, Chase, Carter, and Quinn Hanson, and Tristan, Conner, and Colton Ogden; siblings, Gilbert Winter of Hastings MN, Steve (Kim) Winter of St. Paul Park MN, Mark (Denise) Winter of Hastings MN, and Amy (Jim) Long of River Falls WI; father-in-law, James Hanson; siblings-in-law, Larry (Janel) Hanson of Beldenville WI, and Craig (Liz) Koll of Oak Park Heights MN; three nephews; six nieces; beloved pets Marley and Boo; and many other relatives and friends. Lisa was preceded in death by her parents, Warren and Rose Winter; mother-in-law, Sharon Hanson; and nephews, Travis Winter, and Josh Gunderson.

Memorial Services honoring the life of Lisa M. Hanson will be held at 1:00pm on Monday, July 23, 2018 at Our Savior’s Lutheran, N6450 530th Street in rural Beldenville WI, with Pastor Lucas Ladnier officiating. Visitation will be held at church, beginning at 11:00am. Services are in the care of the O’Connell-Benedict Family Funeral Home of Ellsworth WI. 715-273-4421
