Todd Randall Robole, age 46 of Ellsworth WI, died unexpectedly on December 30, 2017. Todd was born August 11, 1971 in Hastings MN to parents Randall and Nancy (Shingledecker) Robole. Todd attended high school in Woodbury MN before moving to the Ellsworth area.

Todd was a hard worker who loved life and adventure. He enjoyed anything fun, especially horseback riding, 4 wheeling, mudding, pull tabs, beer nights and dancing on the veranda. Todd was kind to everyone, and the type of man who went out of his way to help whenever there was a need. Those who had the opportunity to be a part of his life, grew because of Todd. He will always be loved, and he will be deeply missed by many.

Todd is survived by his parents, Randy (Nancy) Robole; his siblings, Tabetha (Steve) Carda, and Ty (Kelly) Robole; his soulmate, Renee Toy and her daughter, Seliina; his nieces and nephews, Caila, Nick, Landon, Brina, Meghan, and Jenna; and a large circle of extended family and friends. Todd was preceded in death by his grandparents, Oscar (Evelyn) Robole, and LeRoy (Bernice) Shingledecker; and two aunts, Gayle Shingledecker Gonsior, and Connie Robole Kurschinski.

Todd's Tribute Wall

Tributes (10):

  • Richie and I got to know Todd in New Orleans. What a great guy, we had a lot of fun roaming the city together and laughing at all the crazies. Sending love to Renee and Todd’s family.
    Prayers

  • Todd, where to begin. 32 years of friendship!! No matter where we were in life we always spoke as no time passed. It saddens me that the “Ms. Meyer” Phone calls and Text messages will be no longer. You were a great friend with a huge heart and a smile that was contagious. Gone from my sight, but never from my heart, you will be greatly missed by Ms. Meyer!!!!

Holding your family close to my heart today and all the days ahead.

  • I was so saddened to hear of Todd’s passing. I have many fond memories from growing up and spending time at the Robole house in Old Cottage Grove. Lots of shenanigans and fun times! May the joyful memories of Todd surround the hearts of those that loved him.

  • I am so very sorry for your loss. I hope with time the good memories out weight the sorrow. I hope his memories you all have of him comfort you during this time and for all time to come.

  • Todd was such a good friend. We will miss him deeply. His great laughter and sense of adventure – more than a friend – part of our family. Our prayers and thoughts go out to his family through this very difficult time. We are so grateful to have known him and to call him our friend. We love you and will keep all the great times close in our hearts.

  • To Todd’s Loved Ones and Friends:

We were deeply saddened to learn that Todd had passed away. What a great guy! Hard-working, creative and great sense of humor! Todd didn’t mind at all when I would kid him about his “fancy” toilets. We were all looking forward to getting to know Todd better. We were blessed that Todd was able to spend Christmas day with our family. Little did we know that his presence there would be such a gift. Our heart and prayers are with all of you who knew him.

    In Christ’s love,
    Bobbi Jo Toy & family
