Though Marlowe officially retired on July 1, 2019, he continues to maintain his funeral directors license, and will be available here and there, to assist with taking call, working services, and meeting with families.
Marlowe was born and raised in the Benson, Minnesota area, in the western part of the state. He first became interested in funeral service after serving as a volunteer EMT. He is a University of MN graduate from the Program of Mortuary Science and has been serving families in this area for the past four years as a licensed funeral director. Marlowe has worked several years in the funeral industry, and has served families in various communities in Minnesota, including Ortonville, Forest Lake and the Twin Cities Metro area before crossing the border into Wisconsin. He is honored to offer caring and compassionate care to families in River Falls, Ellsworth, Prescott and surrounding communities.
Marlowe’s family consists of three children, Candice and her husband Marty, Sarah and significant other Trevor and Matthew and his wife Kelly. Five grandchildren, Hunter (9), James (8), Grace (8), Xavier (2), Ezekiel (8 months) and another expected in June.
Although he works in Packer Territory, he is a true Vikings and Twins fan. Besides watching sports Marlowe enjoys spending time with family and friends, country line dancing, reading, and Texas Hold’em Poker, or enjoying a good Bloody Mary when not working.
