Brenda Michelle Diaz, age 36, of River Falls, WI, formerly of Minot ND, passed away Friday August 13, 2021 at home surrounded by family. Brenda was born January 29, 1985 in Suisun, California to Mary Eckdahl (Pabst) and Raymundo Diaz. She spent her childhood/early adulthood in Minot, North Dakota where she graduated high school and attended Minot State University, to earn her degree in computer technology.

Whether as a daycare provider, a customer service representative, or a taxi driver, Brenda dedicated her life to helping others in any way she could. Armed with her heart of gold and her unwavering faith in God, Brenda made it her life’s mission to bring joy and happiness to those around her, and as a result she was blessed with many amazing friends she loved like family.

Brenda is survived by her father Raymundo of River Falls, WI; her children: Cheyenne (Trystan) Lehman (Foster) of Williston, ND, Jordan Foster of Louisville, CO, Michelle Foster of Williston, ND; two grandchildren: Caleb Lehman and Macie Lehman; seven sisters: Honey Pabst of River Falls, WI, Tracy Matzek (Langley) of Porcupine, WI, Natecia Diaz of Maiden Rock, WI, Jennifer Dahlberg of Minot, ND, Amanda Foster of Minot, ND, Angela Chable (Diaz) of Eau Claire, WI, and Elena Diaz of River Falls, WI; brother: James Eckdahl of Pueblo, CO; twelve nieces and nephews, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless children she raised and cared for over the years.

She was preceded in death by her mother Mary Eckdahl (Pabst); her maternal grandparents: Wilbur and Loretta (Jamison) Pabst; her paternal grandparents: Nicholas and Elena (Morado) Diaz, as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
