  • Aunt Lila Jean was such a sweet person. Always capturing our lives during family get togethers. She always had a camera in her hand taking pictures or filming everyone. When she wasn’t taking pictures she was showing pictures. She also had the great gift of gab and she could remember so many things that had happened in her life. Definitely one of a kind. Rest In Peace aunt Lila…

  • Lila Jean was always kind and generous. I loved to spend time as a child at her house for Sunday family dinners. She would play the piano and entertain us with her home movies. She was the family photographer. I’m thankful for the memories she captured with her camera. She will be missed.

  • I was very shocked to hear about Lyla’s passing. My wife and I were privileged to host Sunday chapel/ church services at the Ellsworth Care center where we met Lyla Hobbs. She attended the services and afterwards played the piano. I eventually got to meet her extended family. Barb and I will miss her dearly. We know that in the twinkle of an eye, she is in the presence of Christ Jesus and the Father and the angels, free from suffering and pain. We are looking forward to meeting her in New Jerusalem.

  • Our sympathy to her daughters and their families, and to all of her sisters, and brother. I will always remember how she loved to show her photos, and usually had one of our parents when they were young. She was a wonderful lady, may she rest in peace.

  • God Bless this sweet woman as she receives her Crown In Glory and is reunited with the love of her life, Ernie. I will miss you Lila Jean. I am richer for having known you. Fly high …. soar with the eagles❤️
