Rob worked at Treasure Island Resort & Casino, Red Wing Shoe, and most recently as a bartender at Bluffs Bar & Grill in Hager City.

Rob truly found peacefulness in the outdoors, and was happiest when he was on the lake fishing or in the woods hunting. He enjoyed camping and being surrounded by his family and friends. Rob was a devoted Green Bay Packer fan, and delighted in cheering on his favorite team.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Marvin & Dorothy Ottman and Samuel & Rhea Childress.

  • Thoughts and prayers to the family. Though it has been years since we graduated from Ellsworth High School, Rob was always one to crack a joke and put a smile on the face of his friends. Our paths crossed briefly throughout the years and Rob was always the same kind and down to earth guy he’s always been. He will be dearly missed by all that knew him. Class of `94 – Chris Sorensen

  • I miss you so much, already. I couldn’t have had a better uncle. I will never forget all the fun times we had and how I could talk to you about everything. You loved seeing me happy and you would have done anything to protect me. You were always rooting for me. Thanks for always listening to me and loving not only me but everyone in your life the way you always have. You will be so missed. I know you will be looking out for all of us with our girl Tequila by your side. We lost an amazing person.

    I love you. So much.
