  • Like when I thought about my grandma, I always thought I’d see Sheldon again, too. I liked his stories, more than that, I loved his engagement and enthusiasm when telling them. I didn’t get a chance to hear of when he taught school, or ask him about other things in his life. I missed out. My deepest sympathy to all the Hilden family.❤🕊🥀

  • A very nice man, Dick and I played football together in high school. When I would see him at the Ford garage he was so proud to to talk to me about Dick and I playing together. Sheldon was proud of his children and loved to share their successes. Just a very nice man.

  • Dearest Cousins, we are very saddened to hear of Uncle Sheldon’s passing. He was always kind-hearted and fun to be around. He was also very humble and very wise. I shall forever remember the wonderful times we had when we stayed with you. I loved Uncle Sheldon and Aunt Tunie, and I love all your precious cousins also.

  • We did not know Sheldon well , but we’re so lucky to have brief contacts with him through the years. We live on the West Coast, but we’re impressed with his hospitality and interest when we were in the River Falls area where Stan grew up. He was a dear man and devoted father and grandfather. Although we rarely saw him , we know he was dearly loved and will be missed.
